I started falling sick for the past 2 week ago and i am still not getting any better, but this did not stop me from going out to catch fireworks which took place at marina just yesterday nite...
Sat plan was to go out study 1st in the afternoon before going to see the skies (with gilson and souyan). so we did manage study... before someone suggested to hit town to find his best buddy (mak) who is working outside of Wisma Atira for the "WaterFest" thing. we took a bus there from millenia walk and make a wrong stop, dropping at Centre Point. we had no choice but to make our way there walking in the pouring rain, lucky for us as it wasn't pouring heavily and we manage to walk in the cold cold street of orchard.
Found mak... hit him with the waterbag which cause a monkey to fall into the water swimming before heading to Far East to shop around which we had our dinner over there. after eating we hire a cab back to marina, but we were caught in the jam. so we leave the cab and had to walk all the way back to marina passing fort canning...
Finally reach the durians (the esplanade) after walking those distances... So tired!! Here came a policeman, he said "Guys u are not allow to sit over here!" chasing us away... so our leg have to do the work again as there is no other places to sit as the floor is wet cover with tears from the sky. While we were standing, more and more ppl can be seen filling up the empty gaps between ppl to ppl. this are wat we called -SINGAPOREANS- and i am sure many us are proud of this... hope i am right...
OK! and here is the moment that many had waited for so long.... A loud POP heard from far opp the durians, with the sky lighted up with many colourful fireworks from KOREAN! and the many and many ppl cheering with those flashes from their camera make the lifeless nite alive again...
everything last for about 20mins. and u can see many ppl rushing for shelter as it started to rain again... the others came to join us before we walk our own ways again. Had a midnite movie at suntec catch "Death Racer" and home after that.
Wake up early today(12pm)
went to the television to watch Olympics Basketball
both match were nice to watch very entertaining!!
Here is the update i be making before i am off to watch the Olympics Closing Ceremony 2008...
it will be showing later at 8pm. looking forward at how they going to end this with great memories that many ppl will have with such a great impact during the opening ceremony
